How to Retrieve Your CE Certificate For 2026 CSRC NorCal Tahoe Conference

Evaluation and Certificate Retrieval:
Retrieving Your Post-Test, Evaluation, and Certificate: We understand the significance of Continuing Education (CEs) credits for many attendees. One week after the Conference, you will receive an email containing comprehensive instructions on how to retrieve your evaluation form and certificate. Please keep an eye on your inbox for this important email.

Certificate Eligibility:
Certificates are not issued to students; however, we can provide a payment receipt indicating the hours attended for your records.

 

California RCP CE Requirements

  • For a standard 2-year renewal cycle, you need 30 hours of CE:
  • 15 hours minimum — Clinical Practice
  • Patient assessment and monitoring
  • Respiratory treatments and therapies
  • Ventilation and oxygen therapy
  • Disease management/evidence-based practice
  • Respiratory equipment and technology 
  • 10 hours minimum — RCP Leadership
  • Leadership, supervision, administration, communication, healthcare operations, etc. 
  • Up to 5 hours — Indirectly related CE

At least 15 of the 30 hours must be live CE: In-person lecture educational sessions that are part of conventions, courses, seminars, workshops, work site education, instructor-led skill days, lecture series, and online meetings with participatory interaction between the licensee and the instructor via computer networks or the internet such as via webcasts, video conferences, and audio conferences in which the licensee can directly interact with the instructor in real time during the instructional period 

CE documentation/certificates should be retained for 4 years in case of an RCB audit. 

Approved Certification Examinations The Board will approve 15 hours of CE for each initial certification and five hours of CE for each recertification (toward respiratory care clinical practice CE) for a licensee’s successful completion of the following certification examinations: 

  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), offered by various providers. 
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), offered by various providers. 
  • Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS), offered by various providers.
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), offered by various providers. 
  • Asthma Educator Certified (AE-C), provided by the National Asthma Educator Certification Board. 

Law & Professional Ethics

The Law and Professional Ethics course is required every other renewal cycle. It counts toward the Leadership requirement. You can check your RCB license record/renewal notice to see whether it is due. 

CSRC offers this course as a 3-hour Leadership CE course.
