Day at the races is being held at the Del Mar Racetrack located at 2260 Jimmy Durante Blvd, Del Mar, CA 92014. The exit from the 5 Freeway is Via de la Valle. Then travel west to a left turn onto Jimmy Durante Blvd. The racetrack website is: Del Mar Thoroughbred Club (dmtc.com) Directions and site maps are available on the website. Del Mar Facility Map (dmtc.com) Parking is at the west end of the main parking lot. Please be aware the parking fee is $10. It’s a short walk (west) from the car park to the main entrance of the racetrack grandstand. We are using the Seabiscuit Skybox on the 6th floor at the far west end of the facility overlooking the home stretch and the ocean.
- We will have signs and RT students to direct folks to the elevator up to the 6th level (We will also have several printed signs.)
- Racetrack staff should also be able to direct people to the Seabiscuit skybox.
- Tickets will be presented to attendees upon check-in at the Skybox.
- Security does not go into place until Noonish so everyone should be able to make their way to the Seabiscuit Skybox without issue.
- The event starts at 7:45 a.m. so please try to arrive around 7:00 a.m.
